Did you know that the author of Berserk had passed away?

The manga Berserk is very popular even after the author's death.
Do you know why the series has continued after the author's death?
According to comments from the editorial department of Young Animal, "Berserk" author Mr. Miura told the story and episodes of "Berserk" to his close friend and manga artist Kou Mori, the staff of Studio Ganga, where Mr. Miura's students belonged, and his editor before his death.
It was also revealed that a concept memo and character designs drawn by Mr. Miura were also found.

Mr. Mori wrote about an episode in which he was placed under house arrest for a week when he was called to Mr. Miura's workplace to consult on a name about 30 years before Mr. Miura's death.
At that time, the story of "Berserk" was almost complete until the final episode, and the story had been progressing with few changes since then.
Before his death, Mr. Miura told Mr. Mori that he had not told anyone about the story up to the final episode except for Mori, and it turned out that this was true.

The serialization of "Berserk" was then resumed under the supervision of Mr. Mori, with the staff of Studio Ganga, Mr. Miura's apprentice, working on the manga.
The author's credit will be "Original by Kentaro Miura, Manga by Studio Ganga, Supervision by Tsuneji Mori," and the numbering of the book (comics) will also be transferred.

It is a story of love between Mr. Miura, Mr. Mori, and his students.
Let's look forward to the sequel.
