Dr.STONE THE STAGE

Dr.STONE is a very popular boys' manga series serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha) by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi from 2017, reaching its conclusion in March 2022 with the 14th issue of the magazine, and has sold more than 13 million copies (as of April 2022) including electronic versions.

The TV animation series "Dr. Stone Ryusui" will be broadcast in July 2022, and the third season of the series will be broadcast in 2023.

The series is still going strong even after the final installment, and is popular among a wide range of generations! In this stage adaptation, we will actually perform a science experiment on stage for parents and children to enjoy together. We hope that the audience will feel the passion of the live stage performance that only "theater" can provide, and that the work will stimulate the five senses of children as they learn about "science" while having fun!

The script and lyrics for "Dr. STONE" THE STAGE ~SCIENCE WORLD~ will be written by Sayaka Asai, who has created original musicals for One on One, the company she presides over, and is also active in a wide range of other activities from musicals to 2.5-dimensional works. The production will be directed by Masami Ito, the leader of Yumemei Classics, who also writes, directs, and performs as an actor, and is also active as an action director.

In addition, the theme song for this work will be sung by 40mP, who produces music mainly for Vocaloid-based works on video-sharing websites.
