Frieren :Beyond Journey's End

The TV anime "Frieren :Beyond Journey's End " will be broadcast nationwide on NTV's "Friday Road Show" as an initial two-hour special from 9:00 p.m. on September 29. A key visual depicting a party of heroes who have defeated the Demon King with a beautiful background has been released for the broadcast.
Sougou no Freiren" is a "sequel" fantasy based on a manga serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday," written by Yamada Kaneto and drawn by Abetsukasa. Set in a world "after" the Demon King was defeated by a hero and his party, the story follows the journey of Freelen, a wizard who has lived more than 1,000 years, and the new people she meets.

The story is set in a novel timeline of "after the defeat of the Demon King," and the characters weave a tale of gripping drama, dialogue, magic and sword fights, and humor that will make you laugh, winning over many readers. The manga series has already sold more than 8.8 million copies in its 10 volumes, and has created a stir among manga fans, winning the Grand Prize of the "Manga Grand Prize 2021" and the New Generation Award of the "25th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Award" in 2021.
The recently released key visual depicts the hero Himmel, the brave monk Heiter, and the warrior Eisen, who have defeated the Demon King along with the main character, the wizard Freelen, along with beautiful background art. The composition of this visual was conceived by Makiko Yoshioka, who is in charge of concept art for the anime, and the characters were drawn by Reiko Nagasawa, who also serves as character designer.
