New "Ranma 1/2" anime production confirmed
It has been decided that a new anime adaptation of Takahashi Rumiko's manga Ranma 1/2 will be made.

The story revolves around Saotome Ranma, who falls into a spring at a training site called Jusenkyo and is forced to turn into a woman when splashed with water, and his fiancee Tendo Akane, and is a romantic comedy with romance, slapstick, and battles.
This work was also made into a TV anime in 1989, and now it has been decided that a new anime adaptation will be made. Details will be announced on the official Anime X website, which was also opened at 6pm on July 17th.
