"Pokémon" and Tokyo Skytree's first collaboration!
Tokyo Skytree will collaborate with the TV anime "Pokémon" for the first time. The collaboration event "Pokémon and Blue Sky Skytree (R) ~ Shining Memories of You and Pokémon ~" will be held from June 25 to September 24, 2024.
"Pokémon" is a global hit content series that began with a Game Boy game software released in 1996.
In 1997, a TV anime depicting the adventures of Satoshi and his partner Pikachu began broadcasting, and a new series featuring new protagonists Riko and Roy started in April 2023.
In this first collaboration between "Pokémon" and Tokyo Skytree, the Tenbo Galleria, 450 meters above ground, will feature exhibition decorations using the event's key visuals and photo spots where you can take photos with the characters. In addition, event-exclusive goods and cafe menus will be sold at "SKYTREE SHOP" and "SKYTREE CAFE".
There will also be a photo service where you can take photos with Pokémon against the backdrop of the spectacular view from the Tenbo Galleria. In addition, there will be a lot of fun experiences that can only be experienced at the Skytree, such as screenings of special videos at the "SKYTREE ROUND THEATER(R)" and the lighting of special images of each Pokémon. There will also be a Captain Pikachu greeting.
