Demon Slayer: Mugen Castle

It has been announced that "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc" will be produced as a trilogy, and a special trailer and teaser visuals have been released. In addition, additional information has been released about the fourth volume of the Blu-ray and DVD of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Pillar Training Arc."

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is an anime based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, which has been published by Shueisha's "Jump Comics" in 23 volumes and has sold over 150 million copies in total. The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was killed by demons, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human, and throws himself into fighting demons.

The anime, produced by ufotable, has been expanding into a series since April 2019 with "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Tanjiro Kamado's Unwavering Resolve Arc," and the latest installment, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Hashira Training Arc," aired for a total of eight episodes in May 2024. The heartbreaking story of humans and demons, the terrifying swordplay, the charming characters, and the occasional comical scenes have made it popular around the world.

The fact that "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc" will be produced as a trilogy was announced after the broadcast of the TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Pillar Training Arc," which aired its final episode on June 30. Along with this, a special trailer and teaser visuals were released. The teaser visuals show Kamado Tanjiro, the Demon Slayer Corps' strongest swordsman, the "Pillar," and Tamayo burning with fighting spirit. We can't take our eyes off the next story.

In addition, it was also revealed that the fourth volume will be released on October 2nd, following the third volume of the Blu-ray & DVD of "Pillar Training Arc," which is scheduled to be released on September 4th, 2024. The fourth volume will come with luxurious bonuses such as a jacket illustration drawn by character designer Akira Matsushima, and footage of the stage greetings and Demon Slayer performances held in Bangkok and Mumbai in March and April 2024. Be sure to check it out in preparation for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc."
