Life-sized Gundam lights up with Gundam SEED FREEDOM motif
A winter-only production of the life-sized Unicorn Gundam statue that stands in the festival plaza on the second floor of Diver City Tokyo Plaza has been revealed. The winter-only 23-24 Ver. light-up will be based on the latest work "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM" scheduled to be released in January 2024.
"Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM" is the latest work in the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series that started in 2002. The film is set in a world where two types of humans exist: Coordinators who have superior physical abilities and brains through genetic manipulation, and Naturals who were born naturally.The movie is scheduled to be released on January 26th.
The life-sized Unicorn Gundam statue in Odaiba will be lit up in winter only with 23-24 Ver. from November 23rd to February 18th. The image of the illuminated statue is colored with two colors of light, blue and red, and looks good even from a distance.
In front of the statue, there will be objects featuring the Rising Freedom Gundam and Immortal Justice Gundam that appear in the SEED FREEDOM movie.
In addition, at "WALL-G'' where you can enjoy wall images and musical performances behind the statue, a specially edited video looking back on the "SEED series'' will be screened with Kira Yamato's narration. You can review the series in preparation for the movie's release.
