Kiki's Delivery Service * McDonalds

An animated commercial has been released as a collaboration between McDonald's Japan and Eiko Kadono's children's book "Kiki's Delivery Service." The witch Kiki is played by Aoi Yuki and the black cat Jiji is played by Daisuke Sakaguchi, and the commercial will begin airing on television on June 25th.

The animated commercial was created to coincide with the launch of three new burgers inspired by Europe at McDonald's Japan, which will be sold for a limited time from June 26th as "Witch's Delivery 'Europe Burgers'." Kiki and Jiji, drawn specially for the collaboration, are seen riding on broomsticks and delivering the "Witch's Delivery 'Europe Burgers'" from European cities. Illustrations of Kiki and Jiji will also appear on the product packaging.
