A trailer for the anime "PLUTO'' in which the robots express their emotions and express sadness has been released.

The trailer and key visual for the anime "PLUTO" scheduled to be distributed on Netflix from October 26th (Thursday) have been released. At the same time, it has been decided that the World's Fastest Japan Premiere will be held.

In 1964, ``The Largest Robot on Earth'' gained tremendous popularity as a part of Osamu Tezuka's masterpiece, ``Astro Boy'', the father of manga, and in 2003, it was released in ``20th Century Boys'', ``YAWARA!'', ``MONSTER'', etc. It was revived as ``PLUTO'' (published by Shogakukan Big Comics) by Naoki Urasawa, a manga artist who continues to create mega-hits, and Hisashi Nagasaki.

This high-quality suspense drama that takes place in the near future where humans and high-performance robots coexist has won the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Award Manga Grand Prize and the Intergenerational Award at the Angoulême International Manga Festival, known as the "Cannes of the manga world." It received high praise both domestically and internationally, and the book became a huge hit with cumulative circulation of over 10 million copies worldwide.

Furthermore, it was made into a stage play in 2015, was re-performed in 2018, and toured Europe, not only in Japan but also in the UK, Netherlands, and Belgium. In 2023, 60 years since the broadcast of Japan's first TV anime "Astro Boy", Masao Maruyama, who was also a member of the production staff of "Astro Boy" and the founder of the up-and-coming studio MAPPA, finally released the film. "PLUTO" becomes an animation and begins to move.

A story of memories of [love] and [hate] sent to the whole world. What kind of world can we see through "PLUTO" in times of turmoil?
