“Hikaru no Go” will be staged in July
Ken Obata's "Hikaru no Go'' based on the original work by Yumi Hotta is adapted for the stage. The play, titled "Uta Emaki "Hikaru no Go'' Introductory Move'', will be performed at the Sunshine Theater in Tokyo from July 5th to 14th.
"Hikaru no Go'' is a coming-of-age story about Hikaru Shindo, a young boy possessed by the spirit of a genius Go player, Sasai Fujiwara, who steps into the world of Go and attempts to master "God's move.''
