Live action version Fermat's Cooking

Yugo Kobayashi's "Fermat's Cooking" will be adapted into a TV drama series to be broadcast on TBS in October, starring Fumiya Takahashi and Jun Shizon.

Fermat's Cooking," serialized in Monthly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), is the story of a young mathematical genius, Gaku Kitada, who aspired to become a mathematician but failed in his quest, and a mysterious young genius chef, Umi Asakura. Gaku, who could not become a "hero" in his mathematical career, meets the mysterious Umi, who has a hidden ambition, and his talent as a chef blossoms.

Takahashi, who plays the role of Gaku, said, "I hope you will enjoy the relationship between Gaku and Umi as well as the never-before-seen scenery of 'mathematics x cooking', Shizon, who plays Umi, commented, "I hope everyone will enjoy the process of a young man seriously trying to cook and struggling while having fun at the same time. Kobayashi also sent in an illustration to commemorate the drama adaptation.
