-MASHLE- A sequel to the anime is in the works!

It has been decided that a sequel to the anime "Mashle" will be produced.

"Mashle" is an "abnormal magic fantasy" based on the manga by Komoto Hajime, which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" and concluded in July 2023, and has sold over 10 million copies worldwide. Set in a magical world where magic is used as a matter of course, the story follows the protagonist Mash Burndead, who cannot use magic, as he aims to become the top of the magic school, "Divine Awakener," with his well-trained muscles and power.

The unique world view of "muscles x magic," the friendship and battles of the unique characters, and the gap created by the surreal gags have made it popular, and it has been well-received in Japan and other countries and regions around the world. The first season of the TV anime will air from April to July 2023, and the second season will air from January to March 2024. There have also been numerous media mix developments, such as a novel version and a stage play.

The decision to make a sequel to the anime was announced at the special event "Mash Burndead and the Cream-Colored Research - A Study in Cream -" held on May 26th. When the teaser trailer was released, the venue was filled with loud cheers. What kind of story will the sequel tell? Keep an eye out for further information.
