My Hero Academia THE MOVIE Your Next

The fourth movie in the My Hero Academia series, My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: Your Next, will be released on August 2, 2024. The theme song for the movie has been decided to be "Homunculus," a song written by Vaundy, a fan of My Hero Academia. The latest trailer video, which uses this song and will take your breath away with its heated plot, has also been unveiled.

My Hero Academia, also known as My Hero Academia, is an anime based on the hero action manga by Kohei Horikoshi, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014, and the latest volume of the comic series, which has already published 40 volumes and has sold over 100 million copies, was released on April 4. The seventh season, the latest TV anime series, began airing this May.

The movie series has been a success, with the first film, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, released in August 2018, followed by My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising in December 2019, and My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission in August 2021. My Hero Academia: Your Next is the long-awaited latest film that will return to the big screen for the first time in three years.

It has been decided that Vaundy will be in charge of the theme song for the fourth movie. The song written specifically for this film is titled "Homunculus." Regarding "Homunculus," Vaundy said, "I remember creating it while struggling with the question of what my own 'quirk' is. I thought about how I could cheer up the characters of My Hero Academia, and I think I was able to put my own answer into the song."
