A sequel to the Netflix live-action drama "One Piece" will be produced!

Netflix's original live-action drama series "ONE PIECE," based on the manga "One Piece," is now available exclusively on Netflix. A sequel to the series, which depicts the next voyage on the "Great Passage (Grand Line)," a sea of adventure that transcends common sense, is now in production. Eiichiro Oda, the original author and executive producer, announces the start of the new adventure in a special video.

One Piece," serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, is one of Japan's most popular manga and an epic maritime adventure romance that boasts worldwide popularity. The story follows a pirate crew led by Monkey D. Luffy, who are on a quest for the "Greatest Treasure of All" (One Piece) left behind by the legendary "Pirate King" Gor D. Roger. The live-action drama will be broadcasted for two weeks after the start of distribution. The live-action drama series has been ranked No. 1 in the "Weekly Global Top 10 (English Series)" for two consecutive weeks since its distribution began, and is expanding its popularity at a breakneck pace.

Season 1 of the live-action drama series, which has created a worldwide sensation, is set in the East Blue Sea, Luffy's hometown, and depicts his fierce battles with marauding pirates, his first encounters with his friends, and the origin of the "Straw Hat gang's" adventures on the sea. The origin of the "Strawberry Gang"'s adventures on the sea is also described. Finally, Luffy and his "Straw Hat Gang", who have become bounty hunters, the order of pirates, take their first steps toward the Grand Line to pursue their respective dreams.

The details of the sequel are still shrouded in mystery, but what powerful enemies await them on the next ocean? And how will the famous scenes that Oda has created be translated into live-action? The world's long-awaited sequel is highly anticipated.

In the special video released this time, Oda holds the receiver of the "Dendenmushi," a communication device that appears in the film, and sends a message to fans around the world, saying, "To everyone in the Strawberry Fleet. Oda said, "It's been two weeks since the delivery. I have received very good news! Netflix has decided to produce a sequel! The adventures of Inaki and the rest of the live-action Straw Hat gang will continue! It will take some more time until the script is ready, so please be patient," he said, personally announcing the start of a new adventure.
