“Fist of the North Star” new anime production has been decided!

Coremix has released ``3 major projects commemorating the 40th anniversary of Fist of the North Star''.

This project is being held to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the manga ``Fist of the North Star'' (original: Buronson, manga: Tetsuo Hara) since its serialization began on September 13th. Three projects will be implemented, including the production of a completely new anime series.

It has been announced that Warner Bros. Japan will produce a completely new Fist of the North Star anime series, ``Fist of the North Star,'' to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the original work.

The world of "Fist of the North Star" drawn by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara will be faithfully visualized with all the charm of the original work, using a new staff and cast and the latest video technology. Details such as broadcasting/distribution platform and release date will be released in a follow-up report.

The manga ``Fist of the North Star'', which boasts a circulation of over 100 million copies worldwide, began serialization in 1983. This work, created by the original author Buronson and the manga artist Tetsuo Hara, continues to be read and loved by many people.

A number of powerful original drawings of extremely attractive characters created by Buronson and the overwhelming drawing skills of Tetsuo Hara are now available. Approximately 3,000 pages of 136 episodes up to the Raoh arc, and 400 original drawings carefully selected from among the precious colored drawings written at the time of serialization, the story is traced in six chapters with the theme of "love". The main character, Kenshiro, is devoted to self-sacrificing love for others. It will be an original art exhibition where you can experience the journey at the same time, and new canvas paintings created by Tetsuo Hara for this exhibition will also be on display. This exhibition is scheduled to travel to venues in Nagoya, Kobe, and Fukuoka from March 2024.
