Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM, a completely new movie version of the TV anime series "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED," will be released on January 26, 2024. In addition, a teaser visual and the first PV were unveiled.
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" is a 50-episode TV series that was broadcast from October 2002 to September 2003, and has been called the "First" Gundam of the 21st century. The story depicts the suffering and growth of Kira Yamato and her childhood friend Aslan Zala, both of whom are Gundam Coordinators, through this war.
In October 2004, the TV series "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny," a sequel that depicts the events from C.E. 73 onward, was broadcast and received the highest viewer rating of 8.2%, surpassing that of "Seed. The series has sold an astonishing 4 million packages and has taken Japan by storm through music, events, and other activities that transcend the boundaries of TV animation.
The long-awaited theater version of the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series will be released in theaters nationwide on January 26, 2024 as "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," a completely new theater version set in C.E. 75.

The first PV opens a new story in the "Gundam SEED" series, and features a variety of keywords related to "SEED" such as "Cordinators" and "Natural". The film shows Kira's bewildered expression, a collapsed mobile suit, and Kira and Lux staring at each other. The tense scenes foreshadow new battles, upheavals, and an epic story about to begin again in a world where peace has supposedly returned.
In addition, a total of three Mubicicché cards (five types) using illustrations newly drawn by Hisashi Hirai, character designer, will be released, with the design of the five cards combined to form a single picture. The first series will go on sale at screening theaters and mail order sites from July 7. The second and subsequent designs will be announced shortly.
