Lupin the Third in KABUKI
A new Kabuki play, "Lupin the Third,'' based on Monkey Punch's ``Lupin the Third,'' will be performed at the Shinbashi Enbujo from December 5th to 25th. The character visual has been released.
"Ryuuhaku Ronsei'' is set in the Azuchi-Momoyama period, when Goemon Ishikawa existed, and boldly depicts the activities of Lupine and his friends in an original story that incorporates Kabuki techniques and production. The visuals of Lupine III played by Ainosuke Kataoka, Goemon Ishikawa played by Matsuya Onoe, Daisuke Jigen played by Shozaburo Ichikawa, Fujiko Mine played by Shōya Ichikawa, and Inspector Zenigata played by Nakuruma Ichikawa were unveiled. Tickets for the performance will be on sale to the general public starting October 25th.
