A collaboration between Bandai Candy Division's character Japanese sweets "Tabe Masumocchi'' and Sanrio characters has been decided. Two types, Cinnamoroll & Kuromi and Pompompurin & Hangyodon, will be sold at FamilyMart stores nationwide from April 16th.
"Tabemasu'' is a series of character Japanese sweets whose name is an abbreviation for "edible mascot.'' One of them, "Tabe Masumocchi,'' is a delicious and adorable new type of sweet that recreates the character's characteristics by wrapping bean paste and cream in mochi dough.
Cinnamoroll is made with custard bean paste, Kuromi is made with strained bean paste, Pompompurin is made with strawberry bean paste, and Hangyodon is made with milk bean paste, each with 10 different expressions. One of them is a secret, and you can enjoy trying to find it. The price is 358 yen each (tax included).
