Sunday Mainichi 2024 August 4th issue
Goto Hitori, the protagonist of the anime "Bocchi the Rock!" based on the original work by Hamaji Aki, graces the cover of the August 4th issue of Sunday Mainichi (Mainichi Shimbun Publications), released on July 23rd.
On the cover, Hitori is depicted in his "approval-seeking monster" form, raging with both thumbs up. The magazine features a special feature on "Bocchi the Rock!", including an interview with Aoyama Yoshino, who plays Hitori, talking about her feelings about playing the role, as well as an interview with producer Ishikawa Tatsuya looking back on the behind-the-scenes of the production. In commemoration of the TV anime adaptation of "Bye Bye, Earth," an interview with the original author Ubukata Tou is also included.
